"The world is not a lodging-house at Brighton, which we are to leave because it is miserable. It is the fortress of our family, with the flag flying on the turret, and the more miserable it is the less we should leave it."
-G. K. Chesterton, Orthodoxy
This here blog is a glimpse or two or three at the condition of the 'fortress of our family' through the eyes Timothy Goddard, a Christian writer with an unhealthy interest in politics living in the Puget Sound area.
Attack Of The Sheep With Pig Hearts On Their Necks! How's this for sweet news? (via Drudge, though I have the feeling that he just liked the bizarre photo and the B-movie-sque nature of the experiment) Things like this need to keep on happening, so that we never have to worry about creepy rich folks growing clones in their basements and harvesting them for organs (this isn't something I'm terribly worried about, but supposedly other people are). Instead, we can look forward to the day when we have Organ Farms, filled with pigs that are, in turn, filled with human-compatible organs. Goodbye, waiting lists, organ donation and stories about waking up in a bathtub filled with ice with your kidneys missing. Posted by Timothy1:39 PM
