"The world is not a lodging-house at Brighton, which we are to leave because it is miserable. It is the fortress of our family, with the flag flying on the turret, and the more miserable it is the less we should leave it."
-G. K. Chesterton, Orthodoxy

History of Iraqi Christianity, cont. I linked a month ago to a Christian History article on Christianity in Iraq. They've got another one, and it's also very good, picking up the story of Iraqi Christians after the 4th century and bringing it up to the current day--and at the same time explaining why Chaldean Catholic and Deputy Prime Dictator Tariq Aziz is "the most hated man among Iraq's beleaguered Christians."
