"The world is not a lodging-house at Brighton, which we are to leave because it is miserable. It is the fortress of our family, with the flag flying on the turret, and the more miserable it is the less we should leave it."
-G. K. Chesterton, Orthodoxy
This here blog is a glimpse or two or three at the condition of the 'fortress of our family' through the eyes Timothy Goddard, a Christian writer with an unhealthy interest in politics living in the Puget Sound area.
I'm back! I'm back, which would, theoretically, mean more than one post a day. Will it, however? That's a good question. I've taken a good long look around the blogosphere and noticed that much of what I have been saying is also being said by others, better informed bloggers. So, I'm going to take something of a break from war analysis. I may try my hand at the beginning stages of an amillenialist Christian interpretation of history--which may be hard, as I don't know how much of an amillenialist I really am. But, we'll see what comes.
