"The world is not a lodging-house at Brighton, which we are to leave because it is miserable. It is the fortress of our family, with the flag flying on the turret, and the more miserable it is the less we should leave it."
-G. K. Chesterton, Orthodoxy
This here blog is a glimpse or two or three at the condition of the 'fortress of our family' through the eyes Timothy Goddard, a Christian writer with an unhealthy interest in politics living in the Puget Sound area.
On the road again... I leave bright and early tommorow morning, on the road to the great state of Washington. The western part this time (woohoo!) and I'm not taking a bus (woohoo!). I will, however, be computerless for quite sometime, as I'm going camping as soon as I get back, so this means blogging will grind to a halt until next Monday or Tuesday. Very sad, I know. But, when I get back, I will be free from finals, and so I may well be able to post a little something on the nation of Algeria, perhaps--which I, if no one else, have been looking forward to. Have a marvelous Memorial Day weekend!
