"The world is not a lodging-house at Brighton, which we are to leave because it is miserable. It is the fortress of our family, with the flag flying on the turret, and the more miserable it is the less we should leave it."
-G. K. Chesterton, Orthodoxy
This here blog is a glimpse or two or three at the condition of the 'fortress of our family' through the eyes Timothy Goddard, a Christian writer with an unhealthy interest in politics living in the Puget Sound area.
One, Coca-Cola should immediately make her their spokesperson. "Pepsi may be the choice of a new generation, but we've obviously been popular for 600 years!" They should then try to convince as many people to pray to her as possible--just three miracles and suddenly Coke's got a patron saint. You can't buy publicity like that.
Two, this is the first clear evidence the world has had of time travel. And that time travelers were (are? will be?), like we should have suspected, pretty geeky.
