"The world is not a lodging-house at Brighton, which we are to leave because it is miserable. It is the fortress of our family, with the flag flying on the turret, and the more miserable it is the less we should leave it."
-G. K. Chesterton, Orthodoxy
This here blog is a glimpse or two or three at the condition of the 'fortress of our family' through the eyes Timothy Goddard, a Christian writer with an unhealthy interest in politics living in the Puget Sound area.
Extradition now That sleek, swift machine known as the German judicial system has decided that Mounir el Motassadeq, who was convicted over a year ago of providing logistical support to the 9-11 terrorists, deserves another trial, because the US won't give over a terrorist we captured in Pakistan to be a witness.
President Bush should demand extradition immediately. He should make a decently big deal out of it, and force Kerry to either call for it also, or make it obvious which continent he's most concerned about pleasing.
This is ridiculous. First he is sentenced to a mere 15 years in prison, then he gets let off because we won't let a thug out of Gitmo to assure us all he's innocent. Extradition now. Posted by Timothy1:28 PM
