"The world is not a lodging-house at Brighton, which we are to leave because it is miserable. It is the fortress of our family, with the flag flying on the turret, and the more miserable it is the less we should leave it."
-G. K. Chesterton, Orthodoxy
This here blog is a glimpse or two or three at the condition of the 'fortress of our family' through the eyes Timothy Goddard, a Christian writer with an unhealthy interest in politics living in the Puget Sound area.
Anuak Genocide Watch The Anuak Genocide Watch site, which I've helped set up, is getting some good recognition today from both Winds of Change and Instapundit. And just in time for that large influx of attention, Obang Okello has started posting on that site. Obang is an amazing guy with an amazing history which you can read here. He himself is from the Anuak tribe and most of his family still lives in Ethiopia--or did, before they were killed or fled the area after December. He still doesn't know who in his family is alive and who is not. Hopefully he'll be posting a lot more as he hears news from back home.
